...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 PM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN GLASSCOCK...MITCHELL AND SOUTHEASTERN HOWARD
COUNTIES...

At 444 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles south of
Forsan, or 9 miles north of Garden City, moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
         considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
         mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Colorado City, Loraine, Forsan, Lake Colorado City, Champion Creek
Reservoir, Lake Colorado City State Park, and Westbrook.

This includes Interstate 20 near mile marker 207, and between mile
markers 213 and 228.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for western Texas.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
