.DISCUSSION...

Good morning. High pressure will remain over the local area today and
Thursday, with a dry airmass remaining in place over the region.
Mostly to partly sunny skies today and Thursday with temperatures
forecast to be slightly above normal for this time of year. Minimum RH
values around 40 percent this afternoon and around 35 percent Thursday.
Light winds will become southeast by mid-morning, increasing to 8-12 KT
with gusts around 15 KT possible, which will produce sensitive fire weather
conditions. Southeast winds will continue on Thursday, with speeds generally
10 KT or less. Rain chances remain out of the forecast through late week.
Smoke dispersion values will be good to very good today and poor to
fair on Thursday.
