...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT KEWEENAW COUNTY THROUGH 815 PM
EDT...

At 800 PM EDT, trained weather spotters reported a strong
thunderstorm over Lac La Belle, or near Eagle Harbor, moving
northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Copper Harbor, Brockway Mountain, Bete Grise, Lac La Belle, Phoenix,
Delaware, and Gratiot Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for
western Upper Michigan.
