.DISCUSSION...
Surface high pressure centered over the mid-Atlantic this morning
will shift offshore this afternoon. A low pressure system will
develop across the northern Gulf Coast today, move into the southern
Carolinas late tonight and then off the coast Saturday afternoon.
High pressure will build into the region for Sunday through Tuesday.

A strong low-level inversion will lift around 9am. Surface winds will be
light and from the E-NE, becoming SELY during the afternoon as rain
spreads north into the area.
