.DISCUSSION...

* A quick-hitting cold storm will bring strong winds, rain and
  snow, as well as cooler temperatures through tonight. Winds
  will rapidly increase from the south-southwest this morning
  bringing very strong gusts approaching 75 mph in the late
  morning.

* Rain will turn to snow after 1400 PDT with total snowfall
  accumulations of 1 to 3" possible through midnight. Light
  snow showers are expected through Sunday morning.

* Beyond Sunday, there will be a slow warming trend with low
  chances for precipitation.

.SATURDAY...

Sky/Weather.........Cloudy. Rain likely in the late morning
                    changing to snow after 1400 PDT.
Temperature.........42 at ignition...Max 49-52.
RH..................57% at ignition...Min 43-48%.
20-Foot Winds.......Winds south at 30 mph with gusts to 45 mph
                    at ignition increasing to 45-50 mph with gusts
                    70-75 mph by 1100 PDT. Winds will gradually
                    taper through the afternoon but will remain
                    elevated from the south around 30-35 mph with
                    gusts 50-60 mph.
LAL.................1.
Chc Wetting Rain....5% increasing to 75% in the afternoon.
Mixing Height.......600 ft agl at ignition increasing to 2900-3900 ft
                    agl in the late morning and afternoon.
Transport Winds.....South around 35 mph becoming southwest and
                    increasing to 45-50 mph in the late morning and
                    afternoon.
Ventilation.........Marginal increasing to excellent in the late
                    morning and afternoon.
