The National Weather Service in Charleston West Virginia has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southwestern Washington County in southeastern Ohio...
  South central Morgan County in southeastern Ohio...
  Northeastern Athens County in southeastern Ohio...
  North central Wood County in northwestern West Virginia...

* Until 845 PM EDT.

* At 810 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Chesterhill,
  moving east at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Parkersburg, Marietta, Belpre, Vienna, Williamstown, Boaz, North
  Hills, Stockport, Waverly, Fleming, Bartlett, and Devola.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 176 and 186.
 Interstate 77 in Ohio between mile markers 1 and 6.
 Route 50 in West Virginia between mile markers 9 and 11, and between
mile markers 14 and 17.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately to shelter
inside a strong building. Stay away from windows. Lightning is one
of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you
are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight EDT for southeastern
Ohio...and northwestern West Virginia.
