The Flood Advisory will expire at 530 PM EDT this evening for a
portion of Watauga County of northwest North Carolina.

Flood waters have receded, and the heavy rain has ended. Flooding is
no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed any
remaining road closures.
