SOUTHEASTERN SURRY AND SOUTHWESTERN STOKES COUNTIES...

At 433 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Pilot Mountain
State Park, or near Pilot Mountain, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

deadly cloud to ground lightning. For your safety, move to an
interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Stay away
from windows.
