Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure, 30.00 inches, builds in today with
benign marine conditions expected. Strong low pressure, 29.10
inches, lifts north from the Gulf this evening with widespread
rain moving in by late tonight. Strong winds develop on the
backside of the low, with gales developing mid day Friday through
Saturday morning.

.TODAY...Light and variable winds becoming southeast 5 to 10 knots
in the afternoon. Mostly sunny. Waves 2 feet or less.
.TONIGHT...Southeast winds 5 to 10 knots becoming east 15 to 20
knots. A chance of light showers in the evening...then showers after
midnight. Waves 2 feet or less.
.THURSDAY...East winds 15 to 20 knots veering to the southeast early
in the afternoon. Showers. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...South winds 15 to 20 knots becoming southwest 20
to 25 knots in the late evening and early morning...then becoming
west to 30 knots with gusts to 35 knot gales after midnight. Light
showers and a chance of thunderstorms in the evening...then light
showers after midnight. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 2 to 4 feet
after midnight.  A Gale Warning may be needed.
.FRIDAY...West winds to 30 knots with gusts to 35 knot gales. Light
showers. Waves 2 to 4 feet.
.SATURDAY...West winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 35 knot gales.
Mostly clear. Waves 2 to 4 feet.
.SUNDAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots. Partly cloudy. A chance of
light showers. Waves 2 feet or less.
