...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM CDT THIS
EVENING FOR SOUTHEASTERN JONES COUNTY...

At 906 PM CDT, thunderstorms from just north of Noodle and Hawley
were moving east at 25 mph toward Nugent. Between 2 and 4 inches of
rain have fallen from Hawley and Hodges to Lake Fort Phantom.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 inches are possible in the warned
area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Northeastern Abilene, Hawley, Nugent, Hamby, Lake Fort Phantom
  Hill and Hodges.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
