...FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR THE POTENTIAL FAILURE OF PANGUITCH LAKE DAM
ON THE PANGUITCH CREEK REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Flash Flooding caused by a potential dam failure continues
  to be possible at the Panguitch Lake Dam.

* WHERE...A portion of Utah, including the following areas, Southern
  Mountains and Upper Sevier River Valleys.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...Dam failure may result in flash flooding of low-lying
  areas below the dam including the west side of the city of
  Panguitch.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - A Level 2 Emergency Situation indicates that there is a
    potential for dam failure. While there is no immediate threat
    to public safety, the situation could rapidly evolve.
    Officials are closely monitoring the dam and are prepared to
    escalate their response if necessary.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.

Panguitch Creek is running high, fast, and cold due to releases to
lower the lake level. Keep children and pets away from Panguitch
Creek.
