...WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY MORNING
THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...For the Winter Storm Warning, heavy mixed precipitation
  expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 to 6 inches in the
  southern Bob Marshall Wilderness, 6 to 10 inches around Marias
  Pass, and up to 18 inches in Glacier National Park. Additionally,
  freezing drizzle this morning may result in a light glaze of ice.
  For the Winter Storm Watch, heavy snow possible. Total snow
  accumulations between 6 and 12 inches possible.

* WHERE...The Continental Divide along the Rocky Mountain Front.

* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, until 6 AM MDT Saturday. For
  the Winter Storm Watch, from Saturday morning through Sunday
  evening.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible and tire
  chains may be required for some vehicles. Those in the backcountry
  should ensure they have appropriate knowledge and gear and may
  want to consider alternate plans.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions can

* WHAT...For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow and freezing drizzle
  expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 5 inches, with
  isolated amounts approaching 7 inches. A light glaze of ice
  through Thursday afternoon. For the Winter Storm Watch, heavy snow
  possible. Total snow accumulations between 5 and 8 inches possible.

* WHERE...The foothills and plains adjacent to the Rocky Mountain
  Front.

* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 6 AM MDT Saturday.
  For the Winter Storm Watch, from Saturday morning through Sunday
  evening.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snowfall accumulations will range drastically
  from grassy surfaces to roads and sidewalks on Thursday and
  Friday, especially during the daylight hours. Pavements surfaces
  are likely to be mostly wet between the hours of 9 AM and 7 PM due
  to warm ground temperatures and a high March sun angle, but
  quickly refreeze and become snow covered during the early evening
  hours with the loss of sunlight. By the weekend much colder air
  and higher snowfall rates are expected to lead to more uniform
  accumulations across both grassy and pavement surfaces.

  inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.
