Hydrologic Outlook

The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a Hydrologic
Outlook for the following streams: Big Blue River...Black Vermillion
River...Mill Creek.

This hydrologic outlook is based on predicted rainfall and estimated
runoff from earlier rainfall. Crests may vary if actual rainfall or
runoff is greater or less than anticipated.

Location: Mill Creek at Washington
Flood stage: 18.0 feet
Latest stage: 9.7 feet at 7 PM Thursday
Forecast crest: 20.4 feet Saturday May 20


Location: Big Blue River near Blue Rapids
Flood stage: 26.0 feet
Latest stage: 21.7 feet at 7 PM Thursday
Forecast crest: 32.0 feet Saturday May 20


Location: Black Vermillion River at Frankfort
Flood stage: 19.0 feet
Latest stage: 3.8 feet at 7 PM Thursday
Forecast crest: 22.8 feet Saturday May 20
