Creek...Vermillion Creek.
This flood forecast was primarily based on predicted rainfall. If
rainfall is less than predicted...the forecast river stage may not be
reached.

Expected rainfall this afternoon and tonight may cause flooding in
the Pottawatomie Creek basin as well as the Vermillion Creek basin

For the Pottawatomie Creek near Scipio ...
Flood stage is...23.0 feet.
Moderate flooding is forecast...with a crest around 25.2 feet Friday
early afternoon.

For the Vermillion Creek near Louisville...
Flood Stage is 30.0 feet.
Minor flooding is forecast...The creek is forecast to crest around
33.5 feet Friday early afternoon.
