...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 AM CDT FOR
CENTRAL WABAUNSEE COUNTY...

AT 607 AM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT THE LINE OF
THUNDERSTORMS THAT PRODUCED HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS THE WARNED AREA HAS
ENDED. HOWEVER...DOPPLER RADAR HAS ESTIMATED THAT BETWEEN 2.5 AND
4.5 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN IN THE WARNED AREA SINCE 330 AM CDT.
THE RUNOFF FROM THIS HEAVY RAINFALL MAY CONTINUE TO CAUSE FLASH
FLOODING THROUGH 8 AM.

FLASH FLOODING IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE DUE TO RUNOFF.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
ALMA...ESKRIDGE...MAPLE HILL...ALTA VISTA...KEENE AND VOLLAND.

THIS INCLUDES INTERSTATE 70 BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 335 AND 345.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND NOW. ACT QUICKLY TO PROTECT YOUR LIFE.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING.

TURN AROUND...DONT DROWN WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS. MOST FLOOD
DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES.
