* URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
  CLOUD COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS...
  NORTHWESTERN OTTAWA COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS...

* UNTIL 145 AM CDT

* AT 1049 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  VERY HEAVY RAIN WAS FALLING FROM A COMPLEX OF VERY SLOW MOVING
  THUNDERSTORMS. DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES THAT 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN
  HAS ALREADY FALLEN OVER WESTERN CLOUD COUNTY. THIS HEAVY RAIN IS
  LIKELY TO CAUSE PONDING OF WATER ON ROADS AS WELL AS QUICK RISES
  ON AREA CREEKS AND STREAMS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE ELEVATED LEVELS ON
SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...AND PONDING OF WATER ON COUNTRY ROADS AND
FARMLAND ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS. DO NOT DRIVE OVER
ROADS COVERED BY WATER...ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO
SEE HOW DEEP THE WATER MAY BE.
