THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TOPEKA HAS ISSUED A

* URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
  ANDERSON COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL KANSAS...

* UNTIL 845 AM CDT

* AT 640 AM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN DUE TO
  THUNDERSTORMS. THIS WILL CAUSE URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOODING IN
  THE ADVISORY AREA. ESTIMATES OF UP TO TWO INCHES OF RAIN HAVE
  POSSIBLY FALLEN. THE HEAVY RAINFALL WILL LIKELY CAUSE PONDING OF
  WATER ON AREA ROADS AS WELL AS RAPID RISES ON AREA CREEKS AND
  STREAMS.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  GARNETT...COLONY...GREELEY...KINCAID AND LONE ELM.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY.
