  Big Blue River near Blue Rapids affecting Marshall County
  Black Vermillion River at Frankfort affecting Marshall County
  Marais Des Cygnes River above Reading affecting Lyon and Osage
  Counties
  Mill Creek Near Paxico affecting Wabaunsee County
  Salt Creek near Lyndon affecting Osage County
  Soldier Creek near Delia affecting Jackson and Shawnee Counties
  Wakarusa River at Wakarusa affecting Shawnee County

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety Message...Do not drive into flooded areas. Shallow flowing
water can wash a car from the roadway. Also, the roadbed may be
washed out under the water.

* until Thursday morning.
* At  2:00 AM Wednesday the stage was 22.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 24.4 feet by this
  morning. The river will fall below flood stage this evening.
* Impact...At 25.7 feet...Water overtops the bridge deck.

* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by late this morning and continue
  to rise to near 30.1 feet by Friday morning.The river will fall
  below flood stage by Saturday morning.

* Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 20.8 feet by this
  afternoon. The river will fall below flood stage tonight.
* Impact...At 19.0 feet...Minor flooding of lowland areas occurs along
  the river from Vermillion to the mouth of the Black Vermillion
  River.

* Impact...At 30.0 feet...Campsites on west side of campground begin
  to flood.

* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 14.0 feet by this
  morning. The river will fall below flood stage this afternoon.
* Impact...At 14.3 feet...Water overflows the north bank of the creek
  and flows into fields north of Salt Creek just east of the Highway
  75 bridge.

* Impact...At 26.5 feet...106th Road in southern Jackson County floods
  about 200 feet west of Soldier Creek.
