  Neosho River Near Neosho Rapids affecting Coffey and Lyon Counties

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety Message...Do not drive into flooded areas. Shallow flowing
water can wash a car from the roadway. Also, the roadbed may be
washed out under the water.

and local media.

* At  1:30 PM Tuesday the stage was 21.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
* Fell below flood stage at  1:00 PM Tuesday.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to 21.4 feet by
  Wednesday morning.
* Impact...At 22.0 feet...Low lying areas along the river flood.
