Fire Weather Planning Forecast
National Weather Service Topeka KS
449 AM CST Tue Feb 20 2018

.DISCUSSION...
Fire weather concerns are low today.

Surface ridging will remain over the area with temperatures
generally remaining steady through the day. Some clearing of the
clouds is possible across north central KS this afternoon, and
north and northwest winds should increase into the 10 to 20 MPH
range. But Min RH values are expected to remain above 40 percent
due to the cool temps and red flag conditions appear unlikely.
The north winds should provide good to excellent smoke dispersal
this afternoon.

An active weather pattern will persist through the end of work
week and into the the weekend with a couple more opportunities for
snow, freezing rain and rain. Temperatures are expected to remain
seasonal.
