WINDY AND DRY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED DURING THE LATE AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING
TIME FRAME. SOUTHWEST WINDS THIS AFTERNOON AHEAD OF AN APPROACHING COLD FRONT
RANGE FROM 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS NEAR 40 MPH. BY 4 PM CDT...THE SOUTHWEST WINDS RANGE FROM 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS NEAR 30 MPH. THE WINDS
CONTINUE TO SHIFT TO THE WEST BY 6 PM AS A COLD FRONT APPROACHES FROM THE
WEST. SOME UNCERTAINTY EXISTS ON THE SPEED OF THE COLD FRONT AS WELL AS THE
WIND SPEEDS JUST BEHIND IT. SPEEDS COULD RANGE FROM 10 TO 20 MPH SUSTAINED WITH
GUSTS NEAR 25 MPH AROUND AND JUST AFTER IGNITION TIME AS THE FRONT APPROACHES.
