This hazardous weather outlook is for east central...north
central and northeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

The Rangeland Fire Danger index will reach the Very High category
across much of the area today, particularly along and south of
Interstate 70.

There is a chance for thunderstorms tonight in north central
Kansas. A few strong storms with small hail are possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Chances for strong to severe thunderstorms continue Friday into
Friday evening as a strong upper system moves across the state.
