THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL...NORTH
CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

VERY HIGH FIRE DANGER IS EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON GENERALLY ALONG
AND NORTHWEST OF A ABILENE TO HIAWATHA LINE.

THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT FOR
MUCH OF THE OUTLOOK AREA.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

WIDESPREAD THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY MONDAY EVENING INTO EARLY
TUESDAY MORNING. A FEW OF THESE MAY BECOME STRONG TO SEVERE WITH
LARGE HAIL THE PRIMARY HAZARD. POCKETS OF HEAVY RAINFALL WILL ALSO
BE POSSIBLE.

ANOTHER ROUND OF THUNDERSTORMS IS POSSIBLE ON TUESDAY AFTERNOON.
THE PRIMARY UNCERTAINTY ON TUESDAY IS HOW QUICKLY A FRONT WILL
MOVE THROUGH THE AREA. CURRENT INDICATIONS ARE THAT STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS MAY DEVELOP IN THE EARLY AFTERNOON HOURS MAINLY IN
EAST CENTRAL KANSAS...WITH WEAKER THUNDERSTORMS IN NORTHERN
KANSAS. THE POTENTIAL FOR SEVERE WEATHER WILL BE GREATLY IMPACTED
BY ANY SHIFTS IN THE SPEED OR TRACK OF THE FRONTAL SYSTEM.
