THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL...NORTH
CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON AND OVERNIGHT. THE MOST
LIKELY TIMING FOR STORMS IS EXPECTED TO BE AFTER MIDNIGHT AND INTO
THURSDAY MORNING. AREAS ALONG AND SOUTH OF A LINE FROM MINNEAPOLIS
TO GARNETT WILL HAVE THE BETTER CHANCE OF BEING IMPACTED BY THE
STORMS. THERE MAY BE A FEW STRONG STORMS WITH STRONG WINDS AND
HEAVY RAINFALL THE MAIN CONCERNS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

HEAT INDICES ARE FORECAST TO RANGE FROM 105 TO 110 DEGREES ON
FRIDAY. THE HEAT IS EXPECTED TO LAST THROUGH THE WEEKEND WITH HEAT
INDICES NEAR 105 DEGREES SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.
