THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL...NORTH
CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS AFTER MIDNIGHT
NORTH AND WEST OF THE KANSAS TURNPIKE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

VERY HOT CONDITIONS WILL PERSIST INTO SUNDAY...WITH THE HEAT
INDEX RANGING FROM 100 TO 105 IN MUCH OF THE AREA. SIMILAR HEAT
INDEX READINGS ARE EXPECTED MONDAY AND TUESDAY AS WELL.

THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS LATE SUNDAY AFTERNOON
NORTH OF THE TURNPIKE. THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE NORTH OF
INTERSTATE 70 FROM SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY AFTERNOON...FOR
THE ENTIRE AREA TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY...AND IN MUCH OF
EAST CENTRAL KANSAS THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY.

THE RANGELAND FIRE DANGER INDEX IS EXPECTED TO BE IN THE VERY
HIGH CATEGORY IN DICKINSON...GEARY...AND MORRIS COUNTIES SUNDAY
AFTERNOON.
