THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL...NORTH
CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

THE MAXIMUM HEAT INDICES THIS AFTERNOON WILL RANGE FROM 105 TO 111 ACROSS
THE ENTIRE AREA. THESE DANGEROUS HEAT INDICES ARE EXPECTED BETWEEN
NOON AND 9 PM...WITH THE HOTTEST CONDITIONS BETWEEN 2 AND 6 PM.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ALONG AND NORTH OF INTERSTATE 70
LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO EARLY THIS EVENING BEFORE ADVANCING INTO
EAST CENTRAL KANSAS THIS EVENING. A FEW SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL
BE POSSIBLE WITH DAMAGING WINDS AND SOME MARGINALLY LARGE HAIL
POSSIBLE. ADDITIONAL SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS
THE OUTLOOK AREA OVERNIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY MORNING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

THUNDERSTORM CHANCES EXIST ALONG AND SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 35
WEDNESDAY...IN MAINLY NORTH CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST KANSAS THURSDAY
NIGHT AND IN NORTHEAST KANSAS ON FRIDAY INTO FRIDAY NIGHT.
SMALL CHANCES OF THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS MOST OF THE AREA
SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT.
