This hazardous weather outlook is for east central...north
central and northeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

A wintry mix of freezing rain, sleet, and snow is expected
through the morning hours across the entire outlook area. A
transition to mainly freezing drizzle or freezing rain is expected
by midday across the entire outlook area. Areas southeast of the
Kansas Turnpike are likely to see freezing drizzle transition to
non freezing drizzle this afternoon. All precipitation is expected
to exit the region this evening. Total ice accumulations up to
two- tenths of an inch are possible. Total snow and sleet
accumulations around 1 inch are possible in a zone extending from
central to far northeast Kansas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Another round of freezing drizzle and freezing rain will be
possible late Friday night into Saturday morning mainly for areas
northwest of I-35.

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
