THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL...NORTH
CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

THE HEAT INDEX ON MONDAY WILL RANGE FROM 104 TO 109 GENERALLY NEAR
AND NORTH OF A COUNCIL GROVE TO LAWRENCE LINE WHERE A HEAT
ADVISORY HAS BEEN ISSUED...AND IN THE 100 TO 104 RANGE IN THE
REMAINDER OF EAST CENTRAL KANSAS. MONDAY NIGHT LOWS WILL ONLY FALL
INTO THE UPPER 70S...AND THE HEAT INDEX ON TUESDAY IS LIKELY TO
RANGE FROM 102 TO 110 ACROSS THE ENTIRE AREA...OFFERING LITTLE
RELIEF FOR ANYONE EXPOSED TO THE HEAT OVER THE TWO DAY PERIOD.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE ENTIRE AREA TUESDAY AND TUESDAY
NIGHT. A FEW OF THE STORMS TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING COULD BE
SEVERE WITH STRONG WINDS AS THE MAIN THREAT. HEAT INDICES WILL
RANGE FROM 102 TO 110 ON TUESDAY. THUNDERSTORM CHANCES CONTINUE
INTO WEDNESDAY MORNING FOR EAST CENTRAL KANSAS.

SLIGHT CHANCES FOR THUNDERSTORMS RETURN TO NORTHEAST KANSAS
THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY. THUNDERSTORM CHANCES SPREAD ACROSS
MUCH OF THE AREA FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY.
