THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL...NORTH
CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WIDESPREAD SNOW IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP BY 5 PM IN EAST CENTRAL
KANSAS...AND SPREAD ACROSS THE ENTIRE AREA THROUGH THIS EVENING. A
PERIOD OF SLEET MAY ALSO MIX IN NEAR THE ONSET OF PRECIPITATION.
THE PEAK SNOW INTENSITY IS EXPECTED TO OCCUR BETWEEN 8 PM AND
4 AM. SLICK AND HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS CAN BE EXPECTED THIS
EVENING INTO THURSDAY MORNING.

TOTAL SNOWFALL OF ONE TO THREE INCHES IS EXPECTED ACROSS THE ENTIRE
AREA...WITH NARROW BANDS OF THREE INCHES OR MORE EXPECTED.
FORECASTING THE EXACT LOCATION OF THESE NARROW BANDS AT THIS TIME
IS VERY DIFFICULT...BUT THEY ARE POSSIBLE IN ANY PORTION OF THE
FORECAST AREA.

A PERIOD OF LIGHT FREEZING DRIZZLE IS POSSIBLE LATE TONIGHT AS
WELL. ANY ACCUMULATION SHOULD BE VERY LIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

LIGHT SNOW AND FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL COME TO AN END FOR MUCH OF
THE AREA ON THURSDAY MORNING...BUT LIGHT FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL
REMAIN POSSIBLE ACROSS THE AREA INTO THURSDAY NIGHT.
