This hazardous weather outlook is for east central...north
central and northeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Heat indices will range from 104 to 111 this afternoon. An
excessive heat warning remains in effect.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

An excessive heat warning remains in effect through 8 pm
Saturday. High temperatures are forecast to be around 100 degrees
through Saturday with heat indices ranging from 102 to 110
degrees. A few strong to severe storms are possible Saturday
afternoon and evening mainly north of Interstate 70. Damaging
wind gusts will be the main hazard.


Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
