...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM THIS MORNING TO 3 PM CDT
THIS AFTERNOON...

The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 9 AM this morning to 3 PM CDT
this afternoon.

* TIMING...The strongest wind gusts are expected mid to late
  morning through early afternoon.

* WINDS...Southerly winds sustained at 25 to 30 mph with gusts
upwards of 40 to 45 mph likely.

* IMPACTS...Travel along east west roadways may become difficult,
particularly for light and high profile vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 30 mph or gusts to
45 mph are expected. Steps should be taken to secure any lawn
furniture or light weight objects and use extra caution when
driving.
