THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TOPEKA HAS ISSUED A WIND
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM TO 6 PM CST MONDAY.

* TIMING...THE STRONG WINDS WILL CONTINUE INTO THE LATE AFTERNOON
  TODAY BUT DIMINISH SOMEWHAT FOR THE NIGHTTIME HOURS. WIND SPEEDS
  WILL INCREASE AGAIN SHORTLY AFTER SUNRISE MONDAY AND REMAIN
  STRONG THROUGH THE LATE AFTERNOON.

* WINDS...NORTHWEST WINDS WILL BE SUSTAINED FROM 25 TO 35 MPH WITH
  GUSTS AROUND 45 MPH.

* IMPACTS...LOOSE AND LIGHTWEIGHT OBJECTS MAY BE BLOWN AROUND BY
  THE WIND. MOTORISTS SHOULD KEEP BOTH HANDS ON THE STEERING
  WHEEL. LIGHT SNOW OR FLURRIES ARE ALSO POSSIBLE MONDAY...AND
  THIS WIND WOULD COMBINE WITH ANY FALLING SNOW TO CREATE GREATLY
  REDUCED AND QUICKLY CHANGING VISIBILITIES.
