EVENING LOW LEVEL WIND FORECAST
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TOPEKA KS
648 PM CDT MON APR 25 2016

...SHAWNEE COUNTY...

.DISCUSSION...

AVIATION...(FOR THE 00Z TAFS THROUGH 00Z TUESDAY EVENING)
ISSUED AT 647 PM CDT MON APR 25 2016

GRADUAL SATURATION IN THE LOWER LEVELS THROUGH THE NIGHT LEADS TO
SEVERAL AVIATION CONCERNS. LOW CLOUD AND BR POTENTIAL APPEARS THE
MOST LIKELY CONSISTENT ISSUE BUT NOT CONFIDENT IFR CONDITIONS
WILL DOMINATE. MODELS CONTINUE TO SUGGEST POTENTIAL FOR TSRA
DEVELOPMENT AS THE MOISTURE DEEPENS AND LOW LEVEL JET INCREASES
BUT TIMING AND COVERAGE ARE UNCERTAIN AND HAVE LEFT GOING VCTS
INTACT. SHOULD SEE IMPROVEMENT IN LOW CLOUD AND BR CONDITIONS IN
THE 16-20Z PERIOD WITH TSRA POTENTIAL INCREASING AGAIN AT THE END
OF THIS FORECAST.
