Water levels will approach flood stage for the following location:
Kansas River near Topeka.

For the Kansas River at Topeka...
The latest stage was...25.4 feet at 3 PM Friday.
Flood stage is...26.0 feet.
The river is forecast to remain just below 36.0 feet.
At 26.0 feet...River Road under the Burlington Northern Santa Fe
Railroad bridge begins to flood.

Stay tuned to later developments by listening to NOAA Weather Radio
and local media.

Safety Message...Do not drive into flooded areas. Shallow flowing
water can wash a car from the roadway. Also, the roadbed may be
washed out under the water.
