Water levels will approach flood stage for the following location:
Neosho River near Neosho Rapids.

For the Neosho River Near Neosho Rapids...
The latest stage was...9.8 feet at 3 AM Wednesday.
Flood stage is...22.0 feet.
The river is forecast to crest near 21.5 ft during the early morning
hours on Friday. This is about a half foot below flood stage.

If forecast future precipitation changes then the river may crest
higher or lower than currently forecast.

At 22.0 feet...Low lying areas along the river flood.

Stay tuned to later developments by listening to NOAA Weather Radio
and local media.

Safety Message...Do not drive into flooded areas. Shallow flowing
water can wash a car from the roadway. Also, the roadbed may be
washed out under the water.
