NORTHWESTERN OSAGE AND NORTHWESTERN LYON COUNTIES UNTIL 800 PM CDT...

At 732 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms, from Grantville southwest to Alta Vista and Council
Grove, moving southeast at 10 mph.

Dime sized hail and wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph will be possible with
this line of storms.

Locations impacted include...
Topeka, Council Grove, Eskridge, Tecumseh, Richland, Dover, Silver
Lake, Auburn, Lecompton, Alta Vista, Harveyville, Pauline,
Grantville, Clinton Lake, Keene and Berryton.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 70 between mile markers 342 and 355.
 Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 157 and 197.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

northeastern and east central Kansas.
