...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT FRANKLIN...ANDERSON...
SOUTHEASTERN OSAGE AND COFFEY COUNTIES THROUGH 215 AM CDT...

At 132 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Beto Junction to 6 miles southeast of
Hamilton. Movement was northeast at 65 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
         around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor
         objects and vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Ottawa, Garnett, Burlington, Wellsville, Lebo, Pomona, Waverly,
Richmond, Colony, Williamsburg, New Strawn, Quenemo, Melvern,
Hartford, Gridley, Greeley, Princeton, Lane, Rantoul, and Westphalia.

This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 144 and 198.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 600 AM CDT for
east central Kansas.
