...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHWESTERN RILEY...NORTHERN
OTTAWA...CENTRAL CLAY AND SOUTHERN CLOUD COUNTIES UNTIL 730 PM CDT...

At 659 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 4 miles southwest of Leonardville to 5 miles
northwest of Minneapolis. Movement was north at 25 mph.

Nickel size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Clay Center, Miltonvale, Glasco, Leonardville, Delphos, Green, Oak
Hill and Idana.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for
northeastern Kansas.
