DOUGLAS COUNTIES...

THROUGH 300 PM CDT...A THUNDERSTORM WILL MOVE EAST AT 35 MPH ACROSS
PORTIONS OF EASTERN JEFFERSON AND NORTHERN DOUGLAS COUNTIES. NATIONAL
WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THIS STORM IS CAPABLE OF
PRODUCING PEA SIZE HAIL AND STRONG WINDS OF 40 TO 50 MPH. SOME
LOCATIONS THAT COULD BE AFFECTED INCLUDE WINCHESTER AND MCLOUTH.
MOTORISTS ALONG THE KANSAS TURNPIKE BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 189 AND 205
COULD ALSO BE AFFECTED.

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT.
