...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHEASTERN WABAUNSEE COUNTY
UNTIL 715 PM CDT...

At 638 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 5 miles west of Keene to 7 miles southwest of
Eskridge. Movement was northeast at 20 mph.

Nickel size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Eskridge, Harveyville and Keene.

This includes Interstate 70 near mile marker 345.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for
east central Kansas.
