...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR SOUTHWESTERN OSAGE COUNTY IS
CANCELLED...

The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of
the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 AM CDT for east central
Kansas.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 800 AM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN LYON COUNTY...

At 746 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 4 miles northeast of
Emporia, moving northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Emporia and Admire.

This includes Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 130 and 144.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 AM CDT for east central
Kansas.
