...MINOR COASTAL FLOODING AND STRONG RIP CURRENTS POSSIBLE...

.A DEVELOPING COASTAL TROUGH WILL TIGHTEN THE PRESSURE GRADIENT
AND MODERATE ONSHORE WINDS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH TONIGHT. TIDE LEVELS
WILL INCREASE IN RESPONSE TO THE STRONGER WINDS. THESE CONDITIONS
WILL ALSO SUPPORT STRONG RIP CURRENTS AND LONGSHORE CURRENTS.
CAUTION SHOULD BE USED WHEN IN AND NEAR THE WATER TODAY.

* POTENTIAL IMPACTS...POSSIBLE WATER OVERWASH OF HIGHWAY 87 ON
  THE BOLIVAR PENINSULA AND HAZARDOUS SWIMMING CONDITIONS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT IS ISSUED WHEN THREATS SUCH AS RIP
CURRENTS...LONGSHORE CURRENTS...SNEAKER WAVES AND OTHER HAZARDS
