...HIGH SURF ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM TO 10 PM EST THURSDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN JACKSONVILLE HAS ISSUED A HIGH
SURF ADVISORY, WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM TO 10 PM EST
THURSDAY.

* WAVES AND SURF...BREAKERS OF 7 TO 8 FEET ARE EXPECTED TO IMPACT
  THE FLAGLER AND ST. JOHNS COUNTY COASTLINES ON THURSDAY.

* TIMING...WAVES WILL BUILD OVERNIGHT, WITH 7 TO 8 FOOT BREAKERS
  EXPECTED FROM THE EARLY MORNING HOURS THROUGH THE EARLY EVENING
  HOURS.

* IMPACTS...A HIGH SURF ADVISORY MEANS THAT HIGH SURF WILL AFFECT
  BEACHES IN THE ADVISORY AREA, PRODUCING RIP CURRENTS AND
  LOCALIZED BEACH EROSION DURING TIMES OF HIGH TIDE.
