.Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...
A trough will amplify west of the islands today through Tuesday,
then merge with a front and approach from the west Wednesday. The
front will move into the western islands Wednesday night and
Thursday, then weaken into a trough and shift westward Friday.

Hawaiian waters within 40 nautical miles including the channels-


.TODAY...East southeast winds 5 to 20 knots, strongest windward
waters. Seas 4 to 6 feet. Wave Detail: East 3 to 5 feet at 7
seconds and north northwest 3 to 4 feet at 14 seconds. Scattered
showers.
.TONIGHT...East southeast winds 5 to 15 knots. Seas 4 to 7 feet.
Wave Detail: East 3 to 4 feet at 6 seconds and northwest 3 to 4
feet at 12 seconds. Scattered showers.
.TUESDAY...Southeast to south winds 5 to 15 knots. Seas 3 to 5
feet. Wave Detail: East 3 feet at 7 seconds and northwest 3 feet
at 11 seconds. Scattered showers.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...Southeast to south winds 5 to 15 knots. Seas 3
to 5 feet. Wave Detail: East 2 to 4 feet at 6 seconds and
northwest 3 feet at 13 seconds. Scattered showers with isolated
thunderstorms.
.WEDNESDAY AND WEDNESDAY NIGHT...South to southwest winds 10 to
15 knots, becoming northwest around Kauai late Wednesday night.
Seas 3 to 5 feet, building to 4 to 8 feet late Wednesday night.
Numerous showers and isolated thunderstorms.
.THURSDAY...Around Kauai, variable winds 10 knots or less.
