...HEAVY RAIN POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY EVENING...

A low pressure system tracking eastward across Upper Michigan
Wednesday into Wednesday Night will bring the potential for heavy
rain to portions of Upper Michigan. Most of the rain over western
Upper Michigan will occur from Wednesday morning into the middle
of Wednesday afternoon. Most of the rain over central and eastern
Upper Michigan will occur from Wednesday afternoon into Wednesday
evening. Current indications suggest rainfall amounts of 1 to 2
inches with the potential for higher amounts over 2 inches,
especially over south central and southeast Upper Michigan.

Streams and rivers that are already running high due to recent heavy
rain will experience additional rises due to the expected heavy rain.
Low lying and poor drainage areas may also experience ponding of water.

Stay tuned to the Marquette National Weather Service for later statements
regarding the potential heavy rain Wednesday into Wednesday night.
