THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL ALABAMA AND EAST
CENTRAL ALABAMA HAS BEEN CANCELLED. THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL DURING
THE PAST 24 HOURS FELL TO THE NORTH OF THIS AREA...AND ADDITIONAL
RAINFALL AMOUNTS EXPECTED TODAY AND TONIGHT WILL NOT LIKELY CAUSE
ANY FLOODING PROBLEMS.

  INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS...IN CENTRAL ALABAMA...BIBB...
  BLOUNT...CHILTON...COOSA...JEFFERSON...PERRY...SHELBY...ST.
  CLAIR...TALLADEGA AND WALKER. IN EAST CENTRAL ALABAMA...
  CALHOUN...CLAY...CLEBURNE AND RANDOLPH. IN NORTHEAST ALABAMA...
   CHEROKEE AND ETOWAH. IN NORTHWEST ALABAMA...MARION AND

* THROUGH LATE TONIGHT

* RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES HAVE BEEN OBSERVED ACROSS THE
  WATCH AREA SINCE SATURDAY MORNING. A BAND OF HIGHER RAINFALL
  AMOUNTS...GENERALLY 3 TO 4 INCHES...OCCURRED ALONG AND JUST SOUTH
  OF THE I-20 CORRIDOR OVERNIGHT...RESULTING IN SOME FLOODING
  ISSUES. RAINFALL TODAY IS NOT EXPECTED TO BE VERY HEAVY...BUT
  ANOTHER ROUND OF HEAVIER SHOWERS WILL MOVE ACROSS THE WATCH AREA
  TONIGHT...PRODUCING RAINFALL AMOUNTS UP TO 1 INCH.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.
