...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY EVENING THROUGH
SUNDAY EVENING...

The Flood Watch continues for

* All of northern New York and central and northern Vermont.

* From Friday evening through Sunday evening

* Minor to locally moderate flooding is possible due to the
combination of snow melt and rainfall amounts between a half and
one inch. The flood threat will be highest on rivers and streams
where ice breakup occurs, primarily across northeast New York
and northern Vermont, primarily north of Route 2. Note that
localized ice jam flooding could begin on Friday, while the bulk
of any flooding is expected after rainfall on Saturday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
