SOUTHEAST PLAINS...

...FLASH FLOODING IS ALSO POSSIBLE TUESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
TUESDAY EVENING...FOR ALL OF THE MOUNTAINS...AND SOUTHEAST
PLAINS...

.MONSOON MOISTURE COMBINED WITH MOIST LOW LEVEL EASTERLY UPSLOPE
FLOW...WILL RESULT IN SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS MUCH OF SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST COLORADO
THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING...AND AGAIN ON TUESDAY. STORMS WILL BE
SLOW MOVING AND CAPABLE OF PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL. IN
ADDITION...RAINFALL YESTERDAY HAS SATURATED THE GROUND ACROSS
PORTIONS OF THE AREA...AND ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL WILL QUICKLY
LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING. BURN SCARS AND URBAN AREAS WILL BE HIGHLY
SUSCEPTIBLE TO FLASH FLOODING TODAY AND TUESDAY.
