...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY
AFTERNOON...

The National Weather Service in Seattle has issued a

* Flood Watch for a portion of northwest Washington, including
  the following county, Mason.

* From late Tuesday night through Thursday afternoon

* A frontal system will bring 2 to 4 inches of rain to the
  Olympics Tuesday through Wednesday morning. Snow levels near
  3000 feet will rise to above 6000 feet Tuesday night, then fall
  again on Wednesday. The most likely scenario is for minor flooding
  to occur Wednesday and Wednesday night on the Skokomish river
  in Mason county.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for minor flooding based
on current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
