...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR EASTERN STOKES...WESTERN
ROCKINGHAM...HENRY AND EASTERN PATRICK COUNTIES AND THE CITY OF
MARTINSVILLE HAS EXPIRED...

The heavy rain has ended. Additional rainfall through the remainder
of the night is no longer expected to cause flash flooding.  Some
small creeks and streams may remain high in the area from excessive
runoff.  Be sure to observe any local law enforcement orders
regarding closed roads or other flooded areas.

When it is safe to do so, please send your reports of flooding,
including mudslides or flooded roads, to the National Weather Service
by calling toll free at 1...8 6 6...2 1 5...4 3 2 4. Reports and
pictures can also be shared on the National Weather Service
